8 X 30 Project Day 14- Goin' to the Zoo Zoo Zoo

Today is two weeks , 1/16th done with the deployment, and it seems to be going fairly easy. We have our hard times and emotional times, but I think that it is really getting much easier. I think that in a couple of months we will start to have a little downer, but I will have to have something planned for us to keep our minds and bodies busy. Then before we know it, I will be blogging about Travis' homecoming!

Today was Gracie' orthodontist check up. Great news, no braces right now, but she does have to have a couple of teeth sanded down or removed for space purposes. I really hope the sanding down works, who likes to have teeth pulled. OUCH!

Then after lunch we were off to the Woodland Park Zoo. We met some new friends from Clickinmoms at the zoo today. I am always nervous about meeting new people, but this was like we had been friends forever. The two older girls were instant friends and other girls just loved each other. Of course there is always that pesty little sister too. :)

Emma and Molly, instant friends.

I am just loving this pic of Gracie.

Another cute one of Gracie, of course.

I am so glad that my kids are not the only kids that give me this face when taking pics. :)

Gracie, Lauren, and JuJu.

You know everyone has to love JuJu.

Gracie took this pic. I was using the D700 to take a pic for Monica. Yep Travis, I really want one now.

Hunter is always so serious.

I wish I would have asked them to look at me. I am glad that Monica got one though. I just think it is too sweet!

Gracie begged me to take a pic of her here, hot spots and all. :)

I am glad that I am not the only mom doing this. I am in fabulous company.

When do you think her teeth will come in?

This place was a hit. Lauren just LOVED the birds. Wait till she comes to our house, bird heaven.

Travis look who made it into the bird house this year!!!! No crying and standing outside.

She is so proud.

JuJu looks like she is screaming but she is really squealing. She LOVED the birds.

We had a fabulous time. I am so glad that I was able to meet someone new in this area. And equally glad that the girls just loved each other. It is very nice to have friends here. Thanks for the day Monica, Emma, and Lauren! We hope to see you soon.

Travis we really missed you today. The girls blew you kisses tonight at bed time. Love you.
